CRITERIA
ELITE * SQUAD
Riders to have achieved 6 Tests
at 65%+ in unaffiliated Preliminary/Novice/PC competitions.
They may attend a Unicorn Training
Squad Clinic
to be assessed by our independent Trainers.
Members of the Elite* Squad to be 9 years of age and above, and be committed to further training.
They may now wear the Red
Elite * Jackets.
ELITE ** SQUAD Riders who show talent and commitment are invited to
join the Elite ** Squad.
Competition
results
are very important - and should be BD affiliated. Training is more intensive.
Members of this
Squad viewed for TEAMS both Regionally, Nationally and Internationally.
Some training may be with Premier Elite ** Squad.
PREMIERE ELITE
** SQUAD Members
highly committed to U21s UK and prepared
to represent
the Group at the Marlton, Wicklow Southern
Ireland Friendly International . 2009 saw 16 Squad riders.
Riders from Elite **
Squads are gradually invited to move up during the training season. Committment
is the
most important
criteria
and
we would expect our Premier Elite ** Squads
to understand this.
Marlton Badges are given for Red
Jackets.
